Following the growing market demand for connected logistics services around the world and IoT in the logistics industry, Wiseome’s Sizensor Solution was conceived to increase efficiency in logistics planning and operations resource management from parcel collection to final forwarding. Our solution combines proprietary hardware and software to address the specific need for capturing and recording dimensional data and parcel conditions simultaneously, in a cost effective manner.
By combining automatic dimension capture and real time photo recording, the Sizensor Solution augments the functionalities of warehousing and logistics handheld devices, and acts as a real-time data-and-image tracking system.
Partnering with leading industrial computer manufacturers in the Asia Pacific region, Wiseome is now either developing attachable modules or embedding the Sizensor Solution directly into frontline rugged handheld devices that have passed the proof of concept (POC) phase, and will be moving into the manufacturing pilot phase in 2023.
Most recently, the Sizensor Solution has demonstrated the feasibility of the functionality, minimal processor capacity use, successful integration with phone cameras, and AI-assisted parcel dimension recognition capability. This exciting development will be followed by further exploration on image processing within the various handheld devices.
Our Sizensor Solution is powered by a combination of our patented miniature laser ranging sensor, Mini LiDAR, and a proprietary mobile software application. In development for over 2 years, Wiseome’s Mini LiDAR module’s ultra-short focal length and planar optical-mechanic design is the best in the industry.
Mini LiDAR laser ranging sensor modules are offered in different versions to suit your needs:
- Mini LiDAR Packaged is best suited for external use cases such as robotic automation in either production machinery or stand alone systems
- Mini LiDAR Embedded is a compact, energy-efficient laser rangefinder module ideally suited for integration in portable electro-optical devices.
